At UJA-JCC Greenwich, we are committed to helping teens deepen their Jewish identity, form lasting friendships, and discover the power they have to shape the future.
Through leadership training, service initiatives, and dynamic discussions, participants in our programs develop the skills and confidence to become part of a vibrant and supportive community where their voices matter.
Whether in our programs or not, we encourage volunteering. If you are a responsible 5-12 grader and would like to be a volunteer either one off or on a regular basis, please click the button below to get in touch.
Generation Gives
Generation Gives is our signature program that inspires 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to embrace community service through hands-on volunteer projects and meaningful giving experiences that help strengthen our local community.
Teen Changemakers
Teen Changemakers is our hallmark program that brings together passionate Jewish high school students who want to lead, advocate, and create positive change. Established in 2021 by The Hirsch Family, Teen Changemakers has been empowering high school students to lead by consensus to make a change through philanthropy in our community and beyond.
Through the leadership of our past five Teen Changemaker cohorts we have raised over $220,000 collectively to donate to agencies both locally and globally. Some of those organizations include: Neighbor to Neighbor, Kids in Crisis, Leket Israel, ReGrow Israel, Haifa Rape Crisis Center, Sandwich Club at Afula Crowns and Yad Ezra V'Shulamit.
Join a dynamic group of teen leaders making a difference through philanthropy. Participants will earn community service hours, learn about Jewish philanthropy, build leadership skills, have fun with friends, and support those in need.
